Hello everyone, we are in the process of changing our course format to allow for a better primitive skills instruction and a better experience for everyone. We have decided to take a different path to pull away from the preparedness courses to more of a primitive skills/Earth living approach. This new way of teaching is in response to some student feedback and we are glad to change as this is more a baseline for our instructors and staff. The skills will be all primitive orientated and can still be used for preparedness if that is what you are looking for. Please check back soon for more photos and new and exciting wilderness experiences for everyone including new classes and trips in our nations wilderness areas. We have also dropped the age limit and are now allowing teens into our classes with their parents to facilitate a more family experience. We hope to see you soon.

Memory    Edward Lee Mowery 1949-2008. Ed has been a student for the last year and came to many classes to learn skills or just hang out when he was sick. His wife supported him with his passion to learn primitive skills. If my students have half his passion they will be awesome in the skills. I will miss his phone calls and visits at my home to learn primitive skills. Shuna
